Erica Capdevila
Erica Capdevila is originally from Greenwood, SC. She
graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Dance from Columbia College, where she studied ballet and modern dance along with numerous diverse styles such as Jazz, T'ai Chi, Balinese, and West African Dance.
While at Columbia College, she was a member of the C2 Dance Company, both as a performer and choreographer. In 2001, Erica traveled to Washington, DC for an intensive internship with the National Dance Education Organization. There she was involved with dance administration, helping to bring quality Dance Education programs to schools and studios.
Erica was also Rehearsal Coach and then Artistic Director for The Charleston Dance Company (CDC) and was instrumental in securing their performance at Walt Disney World.
She continues to focus on Discipline Based Dance Education, Modern Dance, and Creative Movement, and in bringing these aspects to her classes.
