 We also offer  “Rap Tap” classes, a high-energy class for tappers that want something unique & "funky" at the same time! Done to hip hop music, it takes the best of both styles & mixes them up to create something original & "cutting edge." This class is designed for experienced tap students. You must be involved in a regular tap class and hip hop to participate in the Rap Tap class. 

Hip-Hop is one of the biggest crazes to hit the dance industry over the past couple of decades! Hip-Hop has been ever-changing and cultivating since the early 1980's through the African-American population and thanks to rap music. It has now created its own placement in the dance world, where teachers & choreographers have taken it's raw and unique moves and blended them with some of dances more technical movements, creating an entirely new dance form!

Trudy's School of Dance's Hip-Hop instructor, Tiffany O. Gauch has created an entire Hip-Hop Department, for this popular dance form, teaching children of all ages how to "move & groove" to the latest styles!Tiffany also introduced “Jump Start Hip Hop” for our younger students from 6 years old & up. This is a funky, jazz/hip hop style that the kids love & so do the parents! It is “age appropriate” material for our young & impressionable students! No need to worry about suggestive hip hop clothes, music lyrics or moves. All of their material in these classes are pre-aproved, to avoid exposing  inappropriate, suggestive material to our students.
